Hi Trigger. We are based in Canada. Unique is one of the words that people use to describe our project, probably because it is soulful.
How is your 2021 so far and are you excited about this single launch?
Working deeply on the post-production, on the live show that will be the first scene to present this fabulous chapter of VAYA 🙂 A beautiful bridge between here and Japan, including pieces from Europe and United States.
What is the process you use to create your music?
Yes, we are. It is long and hard work but it is simply because it is hardly powerful and experimental: I put « all my guts » in it;)
And what about the video?
Well, we are proud that the first song of this opus we presented through a short movie made in collaboration with Yumi SONODA is an AWARD winner in a festival in Montreal😀
Where do you get inspiration and how do you create your music?
Universe just rules my heart ♥️ This opus is an intimate link with my past pains that are shown as gifts now. As well lot of clarity about Human beings. I just let the wind shows me the way.
What are your favorite artists and/or composers?
I love Buffy Sainte Mary. She is indigenous from Canada and what makes us maybe in common is sacred:)
Do they have anything in common and how did they influence your style and sound?
She did not. I discovered her recently but she reconnected deeply my soul to the indigenous from the North that I have in my heart from my childhood; they caught me and now I feel them into my drums and vocals.
In your opinion, what is the connection between music and creativity?
It is the same if you really create with your heart.
Are you happy about what’s happening in your life as a musician?
Yes. It is a long trip:))))
What’s the most exciting thing that happened to you recently?
Moving to Manitoulin Island
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Tour for the first album we hope in 2023 in Europe. For this Opus let’s pray for the big show next year.
What’s the best live music show you’ve seen recently?
Good question. It s been a long time I did not get any shivers.
