Have you ever heard music so powerful you couldn’t get it out of your head for weeks? Well, we did… every week at rehearsal with a local band (no names…). It came from a quiet corner, where an unassuming guitar player tuned, picked, strummed and waited (like a hungry lion) for rehearsal to begin.
It took us a year… we tried with all my might not to… but we couldn’t help it. The music kept us up at night… that music we never added to our sets or performed on stage (WOW!)
One day we got fed up… So, we stole him and ran! Why? We had to sing to that music; to play That Music!
Now, we (the singer [Andrea], the guitarist [Jeff], the keys [ Larry], the bass guitarist [ David] and a wild young drummer [DeAngelo]) are Cuz’n, and we play Whatever We Want / However We Want! Our music speaks of the Rock, R&B, Gospel, Jazz, Blues, Country, Funk - and whatever that young guy listens to - that each of us brings to the mix, and it says, “We didn’t come to play around!” Cuz’n aims to change your mind about what you think you’re into. We believe music brings people together and bridges the gaps that other social constructs use to divide us. We can prove it! Our audiences expect to hear Everything they ever loved and Nothing they could have prepared for, and Cuz’n Delivers!
