Biography
Born in Tuscany but brought on the Island of Ischia, in 1995 he begins his musical studies which take him away from the confines of the Island. His favourite instrument is the guitar. In 2000 he moves to Milan where he carries out various jobs connected to the music world, especially regarding pop and jazz, which allow him to gain experience in the field. After he continues to gain experience in the didactics sector. In 2006, without having ever heard of Michael Hedges he buys one of his records and from that moment onwards his musical direction changes and takes a clear course. However, he feels the need to emerge himself into the study of the contemporary acoustic guitar, which he does thanks to the help of the guitarist and composer Pino Forastiere. At the same time his activity of solo-guitarist becomes predominant and takes off. He writes and performs music for theatrical shows for which he is highly priced; he plays live in festivals and in clubs, besides acquiring human, personal experience by playing his guitar in the streets of London. In recent years he has returned to his Ischia, which remains an inexhaustible source of inspiration for his composing. In co-production with the “Accordature Aperte” association, his solo album “Attorno al Fuoco” was relased in December 2012, with the artistic production of Pino Forastiere.
