Biography
A New Horizon is an alternative rock band born in 2009. In 2010 they publish Back Home, a collection of 11 tracks that spaces from alternative rock to acoustic ballads.
In 2011 the band starts a collaboration with Antonio Filippelli (Volcan Records). The collaboration leads to the release of the EP Così Fragile, mainly sung in italian, and the homonymous single/video in 2012.
2012 is an important year for A New Horizon: the video, in its English version “Indifference”, is played in heavy rotation on RadioCapri Television for the whole year; in January they play live at SalaProve on RockTv; then they are chosen as “Just Discovered” band by MTV New Generation; and after the summer they gain the top ten in the international emerging band chart drawn up by TC Helicon.
In 2013 the band is back in studio with A. Filippelli to produce its second full length album that is going to come out in February 2014, preceded by the video of “Vorrei”, directed by A. Filippelli.
“Vorrei” is presented on NewGeneration.Mtv.it and its english version “Right at this moment” is played on RadioCapri Television. The song also reaches the top 50 in the “IndieMusicLike” MEI chart.
The band is now on tour with the “Penrose Tour”.
