Sheldon Summoogum is a keyboard player, singer song writer, and musical arranger. He began playing the piano when he was 10 years old and it wasn’t long before his talents were noticed. Growing up in Mauritius, his musical influences included Jazz, Country, Funk, Ballad, Pop, Blues, Soul, Reggae and RnB. Sheldon has been seen playing in different hotels and bars around the island.


His first live performance was in 1999 for a ‘music day’ concert which attracted more than 30,000 people. In 2005, he teamed up with French female singer “Jessica Serret”, who won the golden voice contest in year 2000. He composed a song called ‘Christmas Bells’ for a duo with Jessica to perform at a Christmas contest. That was his first duo and they scored 3rd place from the 20 finalists around the country.


Sheldon’s Keyboard playing was well appreciated and loved by lots of people and that’s when director and producer, ‘Menon Moonien’ approached him to perform with various artists for the launching of “Jump Around” live concert. Since then, his style of playing attracted songwriters, singers and producers. He musical experience includes, weddings, corporate events, pubs, bars, hotels, support act concerts and studios.


Sheldon is now working with some amazing local and international talents around the country.
