Brussels-based OMSQ create a heavy narrative soundtrack using stoner riffs, noisy landscapes and aggressive space rock patterns. No vocals, only instruments and sampling machines. Their universe gathers all sorts of references, including quotes from American contemporary literature and old forgotten movies. The band has released two split EPs: “Predict Suite” with Shkval in 2012 and “Vertigo” with The Progerians in 2013. Both records were published on vinyl and are still available on the label’s website:
“Thrust/Parry”, the band’s first album was released in September 2014, on a double vinyl. A limited CD version is available on Navalorama Records (Ice Dragon, Samuel Jackson Five, Marteleur, etc.) :

In Belgium, OMSQ’s records are distributed by Mandai (Amenra, Zu, Big’n, Marvin, etc.):

The band just came back in September from a 7 dates UK Tour. They have already been supporting The Men (US), Hey Colossus (UK), Perhaps (US), etc. OMSQ has toured UK with heavy pioneers such as Gurt, Humanfly, Palehorse, Sumer, Greenhorn, etc. First reviews of OMSQ’s live performances described the band as “an instrumental terror”, “a blinding act” and “atypical space-rock, desert-rock, stoner-drone-prog, doom-noise-psyche-sludge…”
