Introducing Ottone Pesante / The new wave of Heavy Brass Metal
Brass is an alloy of metals, and the chemistry between Paolo Raineri and Francesco Bucci is based, as well, on the strength that their interaction creates. Brass is also the material of two of the three instruments that you can hear: trumpet, trombone and drums – straight ahead to the core, between Slayer and Meshuggah, between pure violence and exceptional technique.
This is a deep and philological operation at the same time, played by very high level musicians with strapping roots in rich and deep Metal mines, really far from a simple young infatuation.
So many musicians have joked with heavy metal, but not all of them are able to do that and Metal kids know that. They know, we know, you are reading know.
