Biography
Born and raised to Dominican & Black parents in Queens, it was predetermined that Jorden Bird would grow up surrounded by an abundant amount of culture. Beginning to write and perform songs at an early age, Jorden’s time in the Marines, 2 brushes with death and the resulting trauma forced him to make tough decisions on how to move forward. He found that his music - the escape he’d always used to cope with his struggles - provided the outlet he now needed. Drawing inspiration from many genres and varying artists like Earth, Wind and Fire, El Debarge and Popcaan, Jorden is determined to create a message with his music that connects with the masses, intertwining his feel-good melodic vibes with the emotional rollercoaster of his life story.
