Heavy for the Hawk is a six-piece cover band hailing from Minneapolis, MN. Bringing a dynamic mix of Indie Folk/Rock, rollicking Americana and moving renditions of Soul/R&B, Heavy for the Hawk enjoys dusting off songs that don’t get the radio play they deserve and polishing old favorites that fill you with nostalgia. They sprinkle in some music from today’s talented songwriters too, making it a show everyone can be a part of.
Featuring harmonies from their two vocalists, who are a duo out in the real world too, they always aim to create a genuine, relaxed experience at their shows.
