Biography
Ever wondered why the music scenes in Dublin, Berlin or New York (just to name a few) are so much more active than that in Rome, Italy?
We found there is a lack of active cultural exchange amongst international and local musicians.
That's why the Open Mic was founded in Rome in 2006, and after several transformations, has become the nr. 1 meeting point for independent artists worldwide.
It all started in 2006, when an Irish musician started an informal night with international friends. Later it was passed on to Sal, who has now transformed it into an important platform for every musician who wants to get their names out or who likes to find impulses and musicians for new projects.
Description
