Biography
Poetry power, melody and dissonance, anger and intimacy, images and text projected behind him, blinding strobe and neon lights, the singer with a book in hand: to approach, choices and motivations, ALTERA presents itself as a "world apart" . A group born in Genoa in the summer of '96, which over time has been able to find their roots and their own way, through an original and complex little attention to the quantity from "Livida hope" (1996 Sergio guest Alemanno) participation in collections such as "Out of the Pile: the rock auteur vol.1" (1997), directed by Federico Guglielmi and "Aia from respià - Genoa sings De Andrè" (1999); from the CD "Song of thorns - Italian verse '900 in song form" (Sony 2001) produced by Franz Di Ciocco PFM, the 1st sung poetry anthology, collection "ARCI Freedom and music vol.2" (2008), up to double and complex project "Italy wake up! and you do not know who I was (Italy awake? pt.2) "(2012 and 2014) on the current crisis. The band, penalized by several lineup changes, turned into a sort of art collective "open" to other activities, which has always revolved around the original nucleus formed by Davide Giancotti and Stefano Bruzzone.
