Coming from a background as a wildly successful ghost writer rising R&B/Pop artist and songwriter I Am A S.M.O.O.T.H. is proving in a jaw dropping way he has no shortage of amazing songs and no fear of his second home – the recording studio. Recently, the rising star became the first independent artist to release 4 full albums in the same year – and he's showing no signs of slowing down yet.
It's up for debate why, but the number of ghostwriters who are able to take their skill at creating great songs and deliver the material themselves are few and far between. If ever there were an exception to the rule, it exists in R&B/Pop practical force of nature I Am A S.M.O.O.T.H. Praised equally for his delivery and showmanship as he is for his unquestioned skills writing, the former ghostwriter is breaking through boundary after boundary as his fan base and profile rises. The latest exciting accomplishment is I Am A S.M.O.OT.H. Being recognized as the first independent artist to release 4 full length albums in the same year, 2016. And, he claims, the best is yet to come.
“I live for music so this kind of thing just comes natural to me,” commented the charismatic artist. “If someone says it can't be done, when it comes to music, I'm already thinking of possibilities. Great Pop and R&B is all about freedom, not artificial limitations.”
According to I Am A S.M.O.O.T.H. the first release “To The Fans” dropped on February 15th, 2015. It was followed up by “Roze Gold(2016), ” and “Roze Gold Pt. 2”(2016), To The Fans (Remixes)(2016) on March 7th, 2016, officially setting the new record. He swears he didn't feel any pressure at all working on so much material in a short time, since the work ethic he developed as a in-demand ghostwriter has teamed up with his passion for making his own music and the end result is just special song after special song.
Next up for prolific star is the October 26 debut of his much anticipated clothing line iamasmooth4ever. Expect the quality to be as high as everything else I Am A S.M.O.O.T.H. devotes his time, energy and creativity into. Sneak peaks at the designs have revealed that his unique energy and personality are coming through in the clothing, something fans are sure to embrace for its authenticity. This will be followed by the release of a Christmas-themed album “Hot Christmas” set to be 12 tracks and released on November 15th, 2016.
