Biography
Crimson Fire was created in Athens, Greece, back in the summer of 2004 by Jason ‘Al Becker’, Stelios Koutelis and Johnny XT. After completing their line-up the same year they entered the studio in 2005 to record their first – and now rare – demo, which included three songs: “Crimson Fire, “Metal is Back” and “The Prophet’s Gaze”.
Having recorded this demo they succeeded in opening for many important bands of the international and local metal scene, such as Demon, Brocas Helm, Elixir, Heir Apparent, Spitifire, Marauder, Uli Jon Roth, Anvil etc, and to play in cities such as Thes- saloniki, Heraklion, Agrinion, Patras, Trikala and Komotini.
As a highlight in their career they consider to be their tour with the Canadian band Anvil, which passed through Thessaloniki, Megara and Komotini, as well as their performances in Cyprus at Power of the Night Festival and Mental Noise Festival in 2010 and 2011.
In 2010 Crimson Fire released their first full-length – now sold out – album entitled “Metal is Back” through Iron on Iron Records, which received positive reviews and won over the Greek and international audience.
In 2012 they released an EP in 300 copies entitled “Fire in the Sky” containing four tracks, two of which will be included in their upcoming second full-length album.
The powerful and melodic sound of their guitars combined with high-pitched vocals and explosive live performances have earned Crimson Fire a place in every fan’s heart.
