For most people, the music which stays with them, the music which always has that resonance is the music of their teens. The stuff you were intimate with. You knew every word, memorised the sleeve-note details and waited for the release date to pick up the next 7″ single from your local record shop. For Slider this was the mid/late’70s. An all too brief period between the long hot summer of ’76 and 1979.

Slider play what they know, what floats their boat. Not nostalgia, never that, simply the music of their youth. For them this was The Clash, Sex Pistols, The Damned, The Jam, Ramones et al. Punk wasn’t ”year zero’, it was a full stop to what has gone before. No nostalgia, no revival, just Rock and Roll.

Slider formed in 2011 play the music that they love, the music from 1975-79. They will play for up to 2 hours, have their own PA and lights. All of which are PAT Tested.
