Hi. Tell us something about Hexenschuss project.
Hexenschuss is multi-continental-high energy electro post punk duo operating from Amsterdam and Tel Aviv.

Tell us about your last music release and about the direction your music is taking.
Our last and first release on vinyl was recorded in Amsterdam and mixed by Israeli undo Guru producer- uri Frost. It contains 9 magnificent tracks that will haunt you pleasurably.

Which artists have influenced your style & sound, if any?
No one influenced our style, specifically for this project. Hexenschuss sound is very different from anything we know actually. General influences could be: Wire, Faust, Stash riders, Eno

Where did you get inspiration for your music?
Daytime soap opera 🙂

How is it, being a band from Amsterdam? What’s the best live act in your area? Tell us something about it.
We’re only half Amsterdam based. The underground scene in Amsterdam is actually very interesting. Also the one in Tel Aviv is really good but it’s also very small. The best live act in Amsterdam is JAP and Cactus Truck. Best act in Tel Aviv is Laila.

Tell us something about your idea of musical movement? Are you connected with other bands or musical movements?
We believe in doing our music without any compromise. No sell-out, no assholes, DIY and good vibes.

On Livetrigger.com you define your genre as experimental, electronica, moronica progressiva and progressive kindergarten pop. Can you help us and our readers understand a bit more why do you choose these adjectives to define your music and what do they mean for you?
Our music is aggressive but danceable. It’s mean but it’s sweet. It’s dark but a lot of fun. It’s sounds electronic but it has live drums and piano sounds.

I know you are going to start a new european tour and you’ll play at Circolo Agorà the 04/19/2015, in Cusano Milanino (near Milano). Is this the first time you play in Italy? Tell us something about your next tour.
This is our first show in Italy. We’re looking forward to get to play in a new country for the first time!

What do you think about Livetrigger.com? Do you think it could be a good tool to facilitate booking and organizing shows? Do you have any suggestions for us?
Live trigger is a great initiative. It would be interesting to link this interview to fb, so you integrate it in your correspondence with people.
