Hi LiveTrigger!! Thank you for having us!! Well our new release is an EP called “(Be)For Tomorrow”. It will be out on the 3rd of July!! This EP is a prequel to our (already finished) album called “For Tomorrow”. Since we were not able to defend our album on stage because our tours have been canceled (Covid), we wanted to give our audience something to wait until then! You’ll find 3 already released singles, 2 unpublished tracks, and 3 bonus tracks (Unplugged Live versions). We can’t wait to release it!! It will be out on all digital platforms BUT the CD will also be available, you will be able to order it from our online e-shop, opening within the next days!!

Are you excited about this EP launch?

Super excited!! It’s been a while since we didn’t release a new track (2020 for the last one). And we’re really happy to offer something new, we hope people will enjoy it as much as we did when we recorded it!!

What is the process you use to create your music?

I don’t have a precise writing process when I create music. Most of the time, it comes to my mind out of nowhere. Days, and nights. I have a melody in my head or the instrumental parts, sometimes both. So I take my piano or my guitar and I start playing it. Inspiration is everywhere for me. In my feelings, in my observation of the world or society, in the past, in my memories. Or just when I see something that inspires me at one moment. I usually start with a melody. Then I take an instrument (piano or guitar) and then the lyrics. But sometimes it’s the opposite as well (laughs)!

And what about the video?

We’re about to film a new music video on one of the unpublished tracks called “Ordinary Heroes”. We will film it this summer! Our last one called “Escape” was a homemade video recorded during the quarantine and was all about expressing the rough moments we’ve all been going through this past year and how we can try to escape it.

What are your favorite artists and/or composers?

All the period from the ’60s & ’70s. The Beatles are my Bible (laughs)!! But also Led Zep’, Hendrix, Clapton, Pink Floyd… All the standards from this period, and later I’ve been listening to more recent bands like Muse, Placebo, Kings of Leon, The Killers… On the other hand, I did listen to a lot of Rhythm’N’Blues (Otis Redding, Percy Sledge…) and practiced a lot of classical music.

Do they have anything in common?

Yeah of course!! I think they know how to build a powerful melody, with instruments or voices. They all are musical, you can feel that it’s authentic. And in this world, especially these days, we need more than ever a few authentic things and not superficial ones.

How did they influence your style & sound?

I think they’ve always been with me when it comes to creation. I always pay real attention to my vocal melodies and the structure of my songs. And I’m pretty sure it comes from all these artists I’ve been listening to.

What’s the most exciting thing that happened to you recently?

I think it was a few weeks ago. I just received a call, and this man told me that he saw us live in Germany in 2018 and that he wanted to book us in … Panama!! (You have to know that we’re based in France). So it looks like we’re gonna tour Central & Latin America as soon as possible.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?

Yeah, guys!! We’re trying to reschedule our 3rd European tour & 1st US tour + Central / Latin America. A new music video is about to be filmed. Also, we’re giving our 1st show since the beginning of the Covid in France on the 22nd of July. We can’t wait to play again in front of our audience!!

What do you think about Livetrigger?

It looks like it’s the place to be, right? One thing I can say is that you rock guys!! Very nice work!! Cheers to all the team and to you Andrea!!
