Biography
BIO: TYTUS play heavy metal in the glorious tradition of bands like Thin Lizzy, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Megadeth and so on. The band is a classic four-piece: Mark Simon Hell and Ilija Riffmeister on lead guitars, the second handling also lead vocals, Markey Moon on bass and Bardy on drums. All former members of different bands like Gonzales, La Piovra, Ohuzaru, Eu's Arse, Upset Noise, active for years in the punk, rock and hadcore european scene which extensively toured Europe and USA in the previous decade, taking the underground scene by storm. While rising from the muds of 80's hard rock, the four-headed monster stomps its big feet in the swamps of stoner rock with the urgency of punk rock . In May 2014 they released their first 7" ep "White Lines" in coproduction between three different labels, sharing the stage with the likes of Crowbar, Valient Thorr and Castle, touring Italy, France, Spain, Austria, Swiss and Slovenia. After some line up changes, TYTUS went back to the studio to record "Tytus Rises", their first full lenght opus “Rises” will be published in october 2016 by Sliptrick Records from USA. The album has been recorded an mixed at Track Terminal Studio in Trieste by drummer Frank Bardy, and then mastered at Dead Air Studios in Leverett (MA, USA) by Will Killingsworth. It features guest appearances by Will Wallner (White Wizzard) and the German singer and songwriter Conny Ochs.
